Bayshore will unveil its new public square with the launch of its summer concert series on .
In creating the new public square, known as The Yard at Bayshore, the mall’s owners replaced the fountain centerpiece with artificial turf, additional seating, public art and a large LED screen for sports and other broadcasts.
The Yard at Bayshore will be introduced during the new Bayshore Sounds of Summer concert series, which kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday with a performance by Ryan McIntyre, followed by 5 Card Studs, which play from 6 to 8 p.m.
The concerts will continue every Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., until the end of August.
Here’s the remainder of the schedule:
- July 17: 52nd Street (Tribute to Billy Joel)
- July 24: Valerie B & The Boyz
- July 31: King Solomon
- Aug. 7: The Britins
- Aug. 14: The Love Monkeys
- Aug. 21: U2 Zoo
- Aug. 28: Joe 2.0
The Yard at Bayshore will also feature the Bayshore Beer Garden on Fridays and Saturdays from July 10 through Aug. 29. Hosted by Wisconsin Brewers Guild, the beer garden will serve craft beer from Wisconsin brewers, along with seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer our guests fun, open-air, summer concert experiences at Bayshore where they can enjoy their local favorites, food and camaraderie,” said Kirk Williams, managing director for Cypress Equities, which manages Bayshore.
Bayshore officials said they encourage guests to practice social distancing and wear face masks. Hand sanitizer is available in public bathrooms, and seating areas are positioned for safe social distancing, according to a news release.
